08.19.08 - Updated Poster Site
I finally got around to adding some new posters to the poster site. I have not had a chance to do as many posters this year due to Thesis writing and working on my senior project. The work with Fabel Headwear is beginning so a poster will be done within the week and a catalog in various formats before the end of the year.
07.05.08 - Photos Feature in Fuel

I created a book of the photos that I shot on my trip to Cuba. The book is available for

05.15.08 - Alumni Show Poster
I was asked to design and screenprint the poster for The Art Institute of Seattle's Alumni Show this year.
Once my Thesis work is completed, I will be making a 25 print limited edition run as well with a clear varnish
graphic on top of the design. Still not sure what it will be, but it should be cool.

02.22.2008 - Fabel Headwear
I will begin working with Fabel Headwear on some posters,
postcards, and their 2009 catalog. I am very excited to
begin these projects with them.
02.22.2008 - Cuba Blog Started
I have started a blog that will document my trip to Cuba,
which I know is not for another month and a half. I have
some pictures up right now from the gallery opening there
and will add more pictures from the closing party once it
happens next week.

02.14.2008 - Menomena Poster (cont'd)
Not sure if anyone has seen my Menomena poster around the
UW campus or not, there are apparently fliers that are about
4x6 out and about. I was not responsible for chopping off the
logo. I was not aware that the poster I submitted would be used
not only to create the postcard sized flyers, but also found it
on page 76 of the Stranger with the type incredibly too close to
the boarders of the ad space. I am undecided on whether or not to
talk to RainyDawg about my disappointment in them not asking for
either use of the poster design as A) I would have said yes, and
B) I would have adjusted it so it looked right, but que sera sera right?

02.08.2008 - David Gallo's Cuban Poster Crisis is Live.
The gallery opening went really well. Thanks to all those that attended.

02.01.2008 - Vera Fundraising Gallery Show Cafe Vitta Curcuit
I was asked to create a t-shirt design last December for the Vera Project.
The shirts were sold as part of their Bring it Screen it event. It was also
decided that the designs would double as poster art that would hang in the
Cafe Vitta's in Seattle during 2008. The posters will be hung today at the Fremont location and be on display for two months, and then move to the next location.
This is the completed poster for you to view now. Prints will be avaliable
at Cafe Vitta, all proceeds go to the Vera Project.

01.10.2008 - Cuban Poster Crisis
So, I am raising funds so I can attend the Seattle/Havana Poster show events
that will be held in Havana Cuba. It is not everyday one is granted the opportunity
to go to Cuba. I am asking for monetary donations and will also be trying to pull
together a fundraising poster show and/or selling posters off of my poster site.
