10.08.07 - Open Mic Poster
For this quarter's Open Mic poster I decided to create the entire poster without the computer. I went from sketches to actual size paper stock and photocopied the positives to make the screenprinted poster.

07.02.07 - VERA's Silkscreen workshop @ Bumbershoot
I have been asked to coordinate The Vera Project's Silkscreen workshop event as part of Bumbershoot this year. The workshop will allow those interested in silkscreening to pull a print designed by an artist from Havana, Cuba in conjunction with the Seattle-Havana Poster Show

06.04.07 - Iceage Cobra Poster at Bumbershoot.
A couple of years ago I had the pleasure of having some of my work at the "Art of Modern Rock" exhibit at Bumbershoot. This year, a show featuring Seattle Artists and Artists from Havana, Cuba will be on display. My Iceage Cobra poster was chosen to be in the show. The show will also be on exhibit in Cuba following its Bumbershoot debut.

05.11.07 - Vera Project Fans
Finished printing this years stack of fans for the Vera Project to take with them as marketing material for Sasquatch. I silkscreened this year's batch split fountain using peacock blue, orange, metalic orchid, black, and some fushcia.

I did learn that next time, they need to be bigger. They seemed big enough when they were printed, but in actual application, they seemed a bit small depending on where they were placed.

04.02.07 - Minus the Bear Poster
Finished the 3 color silkscreened on chipboard poster for the Vera Project.

03.31.07 - Random Potholes Ahead
Finished street art concept and will be posting soon in my neighborhood. there will be street shots to follow. Until then, courage.

03.27.07 - Fuel Magazine Layout Finished
I finished the layout and now were are looking it over one last time. The issue should be printed in about 2 weeks. It will also be available online and I will post the link when that happens.

03.17.07 - Fabel Headwear Poster
Just finished printing the Fabel Headwear poster. The poster is a 1 color silkscreen print with a Fabel's label stitched onto it. Fortunately I only had to handle the printing and not the stitching.

02.17.07 - Vera's Silkscreen Shop
We are working on getting the shop up and running at the new space. Man the space is huge!!!

02.12.07 - Vera Business Cabinet
I have been asked to redesign Vera's Business cabinet. The project will not be complete until April I believe. I am excited to be working with them once again and designing something more lasting than a poster. I love poster work, but they get torn down for the next show. This will hopefully be something that will be used for years to come.

02.09.07 - MacBook

I finally have a laptop again. I forgot how nice it is to be able to move about and work on work. Granted I moved from my desk to my couch, baby steps, baby steps.

02.05.07 - Fuel Magazine
The Student publication that I have been a part of for over a year now has printed its first printed issue. On top of that, the school is going to fund the who project now and offer the magazine for free to the students. Check it out here. I will also be designing the next issue!!

01.27.07 - The Vera Project Grand Opening
I will be designing the poster for the first of 3 shows for Vera's grand opening. I am so excited! The new space is gonna be awesome, and I can't wait to start teaching classes in a larger space again!!!! Viva Vera!!!!

I am officially going to enter the Seattle show competition in hopes to kick ass and take names, or at least take names.

01.08.07 - It can happen to anyone
My hard drive died today. I do have backups of most of the data. However, I had not had a chance to backup all the work I did for my Portfolio I class last quarter. I am now trying to find a recover company to hopefully get the data back. Yes, back up your data, and more often than once a quarter!!!!
